1916 Management and Nettwerk One Music Announce Publishing Joint Venture

The Industry Dot Biz: The Industry Dot Biz: Nettwerk Music Group is excited to announce a new publishing joint venture between Nettwerk’s publishing division, Nettwerk One Music (NW1) and LA-based, multi-media entertainment platform 1916 Management. Through this joint venture, NW1 and 1916 Management will together aim seek out and sign the hottest up and coming writers/producers, while bringing a management approach to publishing by working closely with these new signings to strategically develop their careers.Writer/producer Stefan Johnson becomes the first signing under this joint venture. Johnson is one-fifth of the writing production team known as The Monsters & The Strangerz, currently one of the most in-demand pop production teams. They’ve been heavily involved in recent albums from Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, Cher Lloyd, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and more. In the past few months alone, they’ve brought their writing and production skills to forthcoming tracks for Maroon 5, Ferras, Bebe Rexha and Chris Batson.Says NW1’s Blair McDonald, “We’re delighted to be in business with Lex, Jonathan and the rest of the 1916 team.
