2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Announced, Showcasing a Mix of Genres
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has officially announced its class of 2024 inductees, featuring an eclectic mix of artists from rock, hip-hop, and R&B. “Rock & Roll is an ever-evolving amalgam of sounds that impacts culture and moves generations,” noted John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. He highlighted the inductees’ contributions to breaking down musical barriers and their significant influence on subsequent generations of artists.

To be considered for nomination, artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. This year’s batch of performers includes first-time nominees such as Kool & The Gang, Cher, Foreigner, and Peter Frampton.
The ceremony celebrating these influential artists will be streamed live from Cleveland on Disney+ on October 19th. It will later be broadcast on ABC and made available on Hulu, allowing fans from around the globe to partake in this musical celebration.
