Galvan often uses this busy freeway to visit his 99-year-old mother, and he admits the anxiety of narrowly avoiding collisions has taken a toll on his peace of mind.
“Brake lights come on. Cars maneuver all over the place to avoid contact… it’s only a matter of time,” Galvan added, emphasizing the urgent need for action from local authorities.
In response to these experiences, Galvan and other concerned residents are calling on law enforcement to increase patrols and implement stricter speed regulations on the freeway. Community members hope that bringing attention to these hazardous conditions will lead to improvements and ultimately save lives.
