55th GMA Dove Awards Nominees Announced: See Who Made the List

GMA Dove Awards Announce 2024 Nominees

The Gospel Music Association has announced the nominees for the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Brandon Lake leads with sixteen nominations, including Artist of the Year. Jeff Pardo has eleven nominations, while Chris Brown, Chandler Moore, and Jonathan Smith each have ten. CeCe Winans and Naomi Raine lead the female nominees with five nominations each. Nominees were revealed on SiriusXM The Message by host Tauren Wells.

The awards ceremony, presented in partnership with the Cantinas Arts Foundation, will take place on October 1, 2024, at the Allen Arena in Nashville, TN. It will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ on October 4, 2024, at 8 pm and 10 pm ET, with a simulcast on SiriusXM The Message. A re-broadcast will air on October 11th at 8 pm and 10 pm ET on TBN and TBN+.

The theme for this year’s Dove Awards is “Unite The Song,” emphasizing unity among God’s people through music. Tauren Wells, the host, highlighted the theme as a call for unity within the church and the broader community.

The nominees for the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards were chosen from over 2,500 submitted entries by the GMA Professional Membership. Final round voting will take place from August 1st through August 8th, 2024. More information about the awards and the complete list of nominees can be found at doveawards.com.
