This revamp marks an exciting evolution for the brand.”

Lazlo, reflecting on his new role, expressed, “We’ve been on the air for 20 years, and to take over the morning drive with such a legacy is surreal. Our fans are the reason we’re here. Nothing is off-limits, so tune in to join the conversation.”

Ashley O, excited to join the team, commented, “I’m pumped to join the team at The Rock, speaking to the ‘Heart of America’ for the first time in my radio life! I can’t wait to bring my charisma and limitless mindset to a city as lively and welcoming as Kansas City. The food is awesome, the people are ridiculously friendly, and their sports teams don’t suck.”

The new weekday programming lineup for 98.9 The Rock is as follows:

6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. CT: The Church of Lazlo

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CT: Ryan Westward

Ashley O, who joined Audacy in 2022, has previously worked as the morning drive host for Bayou 95.7 (WKBU-FM) in New Orleans, while also serving as the Regional Promotions Director. Her career in radio began in 2014, and she quickly rose through the ranks at Cumulus Media, becoming Director of Promotions and Digital Media by 2015. In 2018, she was promoted to Music Director for Alt 92.3 (WZRH-FM), where she also hosted an afternoon show.
