CAROLINE POLACHEK RELEASES NEW TRACK “LOOK AT ME NOW” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM PANG
Today, Caroline Polachek has released new track “Look At Me Now” from her forthcoming solo album Pang. This is the last track that Caroline will release before Pang releases on October 18th. “Look At Me Now” follows the release of key tracks “Door,” “Parachute,” “Ocean of Tears,” and “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings.” Listen here and watch the lyric booklet here.
Says Caroline, “‘Look At Me Now’ is the ‘diary entry’ of the album. I wrote it last year while processing a mix of guilt, self-destructiveness, and hope. I’ve never really worked with acoustic guitar before, and in ‘Look At Me Now’ it’s an umbilical connection to the Lilith-Fair-era artists I grew up listening to, like Jewel and Sarah McLaughlan, who’s wistfully adult lyrics I pretended to understand at the time and now do.”
Caroline will celebrate the release of Pang with live performances in select US and European cities, starting October 24th. For tickets and more information, please visit her website.
