WZLX Teams Up with Springdale Barrel Room to benefit The Pearl Street Cupboard & Cafe
Last night, Boston’s Classic Rock Station, 100.7 WZLX’s Karlson, McKenzie & Heather hosted their annual Turkey Meat & Greet at the Springdale Barrell Room in Framingham, MA to benefit The Pearl Street Cupboard & Café, which is run by The United Way. In exchange for a donation of a non-perishable food item, listeners were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all of the fixings. Guitar virtuoso, Gary Hoey, provided the entertainment and attendees were able to bid on silent auction items including autographed memorabilia from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers, Warren Haynes and more! WZLX listeners donated over 1,200 pounds of food and over $2,000 to the United Way and the Pearl Street Cupboard and Café .
