Airbnb Nightmare Renters Leave Home Tra

Shocking Discovery

Mark and Star King were horrified when they entered their home after renting it out for the weekend through Airbnb. They found their once beautiful home completely traParty Bus and Unruly Guests

The Kings had rented their home for three nights to four adults who claimed they were in Calgary for a wedding. However, their neighbors reported seeing a party bus arrive on Saturday night, followed by numerous cars filling every available parking spot. The party lasted from Saturday night until Monday when the police were finally involved.

Discovery and Evacuation

The family was unaware of the ongoing chaos until a neighbor texted them on Monday morning. They arrived at the house with police assistance and found people still inside. Eventually, one girl cooperated by calling cabs and waking up the remaining guests. About 20 people, described as the leftovers, filed out of the house.

Drug-Induced Orgy

Upon entering the house with the police, the Kings were informed that what had occurred was not just a party but a drug-induced orgy. Evidence supporting this was found throughout the house.

Airbnb’s Response

Airbnb issued a statement regarding the incident, stating that the guests responsible had been banned from the platform. Their trust and safety team is also offering full assistance to law enforcement in the investigation.

Police Reaction

A Calgary police officer who arrived at the scene expressed disbelief and anger over the extent of the damage caused in just three days. The officer emphasized the severe violation of the Kings’ home.

Ongoing Investigation

The Kings have been provided with accommodation while their home undergoes repairs. The police have identified a suspect who could be charged with mischief to property over $5,000.

This story highlights the potential risks homeowners face when renting out their properties through platforms like Airbnb and underscores the importance of stringent vetting and monitoring processes.
