iHeartMedia Denver Reshapes KOA’s Lineup with Big Changes

iHeartMedia Denver is shaking up its radio lineup with an exciting new morning show and several key changes for KOA 850 AM and 94.1 FM. Starting Monday, November 10th, longtime favorite Ross Kaminsky will move from his 9 a.m. to noon slot to take on mornings with Jeana Gondek.

Together, they’ll launch “Ross Kaminsky on the News, with Jeana Gondek,” a fast-paced show designed to deliver a lively mix of local news, traffic, weather, and smart conversation.

Kaminsky, known for his signature humor and engaging style, will bring a fresh perspective to the morning airwaves, complementing Gondek’s trusted delivery of Colorado’s Morning News, which airs from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. The duo promises to keep listeners both informed and entertained as they start their day.

Kaminsky expressed excitement about the move, saying, “I’m thrilled to join Jeana and start the day with Denver delivering top news, lively conversation, and plenty of laughter. KOA listeners expect credible information and smart talk, and we’re excited to deliver that every morning.”

In another change, Michael Brown, former FEMA Administrator and the nationally syndicated host of The Situation with Michael Brown, will be moving from iHeart Denver’s KHOW mornings to KOA.

Brown will bring his unique perspective on culture, current events, and politics to the 9 a.m. to noon slot, providing deeper analysis and thought-provoking conversation.

Brown is excited about his new role, stating, “KOA has long been a trusted voice for Colorado news and talk, and I’m excited to continue that tradition diving deeper into the issues that impact our listeners—with a mix of insight, experience, and a little humor.”

With these changes, KOA is reinforcing its commitment to being Colorado’s leading destination for news, talk, and sports, blending reliable voices with dynamic entertainment that keeps listeners engaged throughout the day.

The full KOA lineup starting Monday, November 10th will be as follows:

5 a.m.: Colorado’s Morning News with Jeana Gondek

6 a.m.: Ross Kaminsky on the News, with Jeana Gondek

9 a.m.: The Situation with Michael Brown

12 p.m.: Mandy Connell

3 p.m.: KOA Sports with Dave Logan and Ryan Edwards

6 p.m.: Broncos Country Tonight with Benjamin Allbright and Nick Ferguson

These changes reflect iHeartMedia’s continued effort to provide Colorado’s most trusted voices and engaging content. With a mix of local news, sports, and insightful talk shows, KOA is set to keep Denver listeners informed and entertained all day long.
