BMI’s EVP, Chief Revenue & Creative Officer Mike Steinberg praised the team, noting their commitment to supporting talent across genres. He highlighted that these promotions reflect the strength of BMI’s Creative division and its ongoing efforts to provide meaningful opportunities and resources to music creators.

As Executive Director, Partnerships & Events, Carter leads initiatives that develop performance platforms for BMI affiliates, including branded stages at SXSW, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and CMA Fest. Her team also produces signature BMI events such as Rooftop on the Row, BMI Acoustic Lounge, and the Key West Songwriters Festival, helping expand non-traditional revenue opportunities for affiliates.

In their new senior roles, Butler, Keen, Kilgallen, Streit, and Bostelman will continue working closely with emerging and established creators. Their responsibilities include introducing new writers to BMI’s services, generating performance and co-writing opportunities, and helping guide creators through the industry. They also take leading roles in producing major BMI events, including award shows and festival stages. Recent signings for each include Butler (ATL Jacob, NLE Choppa, Big Boss Vette), Keen (Adam Sanders, Callie Prince, Vincent Mason), Kilgallen (Dijon, Gigi Perez, Petey USA), Streit (FnZ, Sam Dew, BAK Jay), and Bostelman (Jessica Pratt, The American Dawn, ALEXSUCKS).

McCormick, now Senior Director, Creative, Classical, will continue overseeing royalty distributions for orchestral and large ensemble classical concerts. His responsibilities include advising BMI composers and publishers on royalty eligibility, licensing requirements, registrations, and copyright matters, as well as guiding licensees on repertory reporting to maintain compliance.

Dodelin, promoted to Associate Director in Nashville, will work closely with the city’s expanding indie and rock community. Her role includes curating showcases, coordinating writing sessions and mixers, and building opportunities that support Nashville’s growing base of emerging music creators.
