Apple Music’s Year-End Replay Highlights 2025’s Top Tracks
Apple Music has released its year-end summary, Replay ’25, showcasing the top songs of the year. This annual feature, which aims to rival Spotify’s Wrapped, is designed to give users a comprehensive look at their listening habits over the past year.
This year, Apple Music added new features to enhance user engagement, including more shareable designs for social media. Musicians can also access their own statistics, making it easier to understand their audience reach.
Rosé’s collaboration with Bruno Mars, titled “Apt,” claimed the top spot on Apple Music’s global songs chart for 2025. The song not only led the overall chart but also topped the global most read lyrics and fitness year-end lists. Additionally, it shone on Shazam’s global charts, securing the number one position there as well. Apple Music highlighted that 2025 was a standout year for this track.
Following closely behind were Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther,” along with Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile.” Other notable entries in the top five include Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.” Country artist Morgan Wallen made a significant impact with 12 songs on the top 100 list, with “I’m The Problem” ranking at No. 18. Kendrick Lamar also made a mark by appearing nine times in total on the global chart, including two entries in the top 10.
K-Pop continues to make waves on Apple Music, with the film “KPop Demon Hunters” featuring Huntrix—comprised of EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Their track “Golden” landed at No. 15 and spent an impressive 70 consecutive days at the top of Apple Music’s daily top 100 chart.
New artists like Gracie Abrams, Alex Warren, and Tyler, The Creator also made their presence felt, debuting at No. 6, No. 7, and No. 18, respectively. Drake maintained his relevance by appearing eight times on the top 100 chart through his own work and collaborations. Sabrina Carpenter had five songs in the mix, with her track “Espresso” reaching No. 16.
Jennie, another member of Blackpink, made the chart with her solo hit “Like Jennie” at No. 62, while Aespa was the sole K-Pop group in the top 100 with “Whiplash” at No. 33.
Replay ’25 allows users to reflect on new artists they’ve discovered, as well as those they’ve remained loyal to. Metrics include total minutes listened, favorite genres, and artist streaks. For artists, new metrics such as listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries are now accessible.
