Radio Contest Winner Claims Sexual Assault at Diddy Party

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing another sexual assault lawsuit, this time from LaTroya Grayson, an Oklahoma woman who claims she was drugged and raped at a 2006 party hosted by the music mogul. The lawsuit, filed against Diddy, Bad Boy Records, and other associated companies, includes photos and documentation from the trip TMZ reports.

According to the lawsuit, Grayson’s sibling won a radio contest through KJAMZ, a local Oklahoma station. The prize included round-trip airfare for two, a hotel stay in New York City, and tickets to attend Diddy’s “White Party.” Grayson and her sibling flew to New York on October 16, 2006, with Delta Airlines, and stayed at the Roger Smith Hotel in Manhattan, with the bill covered by Atlantic Records.

The party, which had been changed to a “Black Party,” took place that evening. Grayson claims she and her sibling were separated at the entrance, with Grayson entering the event while her sibling was left outside. Inside, waitresses served premade drinks, and after consuming two, Grayson says she began to feel sick and went to the restroom. She alleges she has no memory of what happened next and woke up at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center. Grayson says she was wearing a ripped shirt, had no underwear, and discovered most of her money was missing.

Grayson included photos of her airline tickets, the hotel bill, and her hospital bracelet in the lawsuit. She also claims that after returning to Oklahoma, she received a call from an anonymous woman warning her not to pursue legal action against Diddy, saying it would be a waste of time because of his celebrity status. Out of fear, Grayson says she chose not to report the incident at the time.

Grayson’s lawsuit does not accuse Diddy of directly assaulting her, and she admits she has no memory of the alleged assault or who was involved. However, she is suing Diddy and his associated companies for negligence and creating an environment that allowed the alleged assault to occur.

Diddy’s attorneys have denied the allegations, calling them “pure fiction.” In a statement to TMZ, they said, “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone or engaged in sex trafficking. Ms. Grayson admits she has no memory of the events alleged in her complaint, does not know who was supposedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs. Her allegations against him are pure fiction. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every baseless lawsuit and lawyer-driven money grab. He has faith in the judicial process, in which fact will be separated from opportunistic fabrications like these.”

Diddy is currently in custody at MDC Brooklyn, awaiting trial for unrelated charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
