IHEARTMEDIA RALEIGH’S B93.9 RAISES OVER $124,000 DURING ANNUAL ST. JUDE RADIOTHON

iHeartMedia’s Raleigh’s B93.9, Raleigh’s #1 for New Country,  announced today that their annual St. Jude Radiothon raised over $124,000. The event took place  Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12 and it helped raise funds for St. Jude Children’s  Research Hospital, the leading children’s hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer  and other life-threatening diseases.

B93.9’s on-air personalities including The Bobby Bones Show, Ashley Wilson and JT Bosch encouraged  listeners to become Partners in Hope by making monthly donations to St. Jude. The radiothon featured  inspiring stories about the hospital’s patients and their families, including Jamie, a St. Jude mom in  Raleigh, who lost her son Mason to cancer in 2023.

“Once again, the Raleigh community has stepped up for the St. Jude kids,” said Ashley Wilson, Program  Director for B93.9. “We will not stop until no child dies of cancer. It’s an honor every year to leverage  our platform to save children and find cures that impact children in Raleigh and the surrounding area.”

The community support through the St. Jude Radiothon will help the hospital provide lifesaving care for  thousands of patients. Since the partnership’s inception in 2017, B93.9 has raised over $850,000 to  benefit St. Jude. B93.9 is a media outlet in the Raleigh market with multiple platforms, including its broadcast station; live  events; data; and its digital businesses and platforms, including mobile, social and its own iHeartRadio,  iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service – available  across more than 500 platforms and over 2,000 devices including smart speakers, digital auto dashes,  tablets, wearables, smartphones, virtual assistants, televisions and gaming consoles.
