iHeartMedia Baltimore today announced that Michael J has been named Morning Show Host for 93.1 WPOC, Today’s Best Country, effective January 6, 2025.

IHEARTMEDIA BALTIMORE NAMES MICHAEL J MORNING SHOW HOST FOR WPOC

As Morning Show Host, Michael J will be responsible for hosting “The Michael J Morning Show” alongside current morning show co-host Bethany Linderman. Jeff St. Pierre, Linderman’s current morning show co-host, will become the host of the afternoon drive show.

“Michael was born and raised in Baltimore and has been hosting afternoons on WPOC for 25 years.  I am excited to pair him with Bethany in the morning and watch them go.”  said Jeff Kapugi, Region Senior Vice President of Programming. “I feel like this new line up on WPOC has all the right talent in all the right places.”

Michael J will continue to host the midday show on 98.7 WMZQ in Washington, D.C., and he can also be heard on iHeartMedia stations country wide. Michael J most recently served as the Afternoon Drive Host on WPOC. 

“I finally found a job that lets me wear my pajamas to work!” said Michael J. “As a Baltimore Boy, to quarterback mornings on THE station I grew up listening to as a kid with my granddad who was a Country superfan, I’m truly living the dream!”

The Michael J Morning Show       6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Bob Delmont                                 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Jeff St. Pierre                                 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The Bobby Bones Show                7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
