iHeartMedia Elevates Rhonda Gerrard To Area President For Nebraska-Iowa 

iHeartMedia announced today that Rhonda Gerrard has been named Area President for the Nebraska-Iowa Area, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Nebraska-Iowa Area has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than 35 stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.  

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Area President of the Nebraska-Iowa Area, Rhonda will add oversight to her portfolio of stations and be responsible for all operations across the Omaha, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Ogallala, and Sioux City. She will continue to report to Shosh Abromovich, Division President for iHeartMedia.

Rhonda is a 30-year media veteran who has been with iHeartMedia for 13 years. She most recently oversaw the Nebraska-Iowa Area as the Senior VP of Sales prior to taking on this new role. Rhonda began her career at KFOR/KFRX in Lincoln, Nebraska and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She is a member of the Woodcliff Lions and a committee member of Replant Woodcliff, a 501C-3 focused on common ground development, tree planting, community beautification and recycling.
