101.3 KDWB Adds Vont Leak and Bailey Hess to Dave Ryan Show

101.3 KDWB The Twin Cities #1 Hit Music Station, announced today that Vont Leak and Bailey Hess will join The Dave Ryan Show, effective immediately. The Dave Ryan show broadcasts weekdays from 5:30 a.m.-10 a.m.

The Dave Ryan Show features 31 year 101.3 KDWB veteran Dave Ryan, Jenny Luttenberger and is the home of War of the Roses, Dave’s Dirt, and No Phone Screener Friday.  Plus, they also have the wildly popular podcast The Minnesota Goodbye.

“To get an opportunity to be on The Dave Ryan Show is a blessing and truly, an anomaly that I don’t take for granted. Since joining 101.3 KDWB nine months ago, I’ve been welcomed with open arms so I’m excited to officially move to mornings and wake up with the Twin Cities,” said Vont Leak, 101.3 KDWB on-air personality.

“As a Minnesota native, Dave Ryan’s voice has graced my ears for the last 30 years, so I’m beyond jazzed to join the amazing crew at KDWB.

I can’t wait to bring my quirky enthusiasm and unique perspective to the team and introduce a lot of what’s great about the Twin Cities to the Morning Show,” said Bailey Hess, 101.3 KDWB on-air personality.

“Dave Ryan has consistently revolutionized The Dave Ryan Show, making it a hallmark of the Twin Cities. His knack for spotting and nurturing top-tier talent is unmatched.

With the exciting addition of Vont and Bailey to the morning lineup, we’re setting the stage for a fresh, dynamic evolution of the show. Tune into 101.3 KDWB to experience the next chapter of morning radio with us,” said Rich Davis, Program Director.

Vont Leak’s meteoric rise in radio continues, since joining 101.3 KDWB last August, his night show numbers have been among the best on the radio station and he is always looking for ways to grow in his young career. 

He is a 2023 graduate of William Patterson University where he served as the Program Director for WPSC and led the station to winning a Marconi Award for College Radio Station of the Year in 2021.

Bailey Hess is a Minnesota native who grew up listening to The Dave Ryan Show and is the Speech and Debate Team Head Coach at Mounds View High School. She also recently worked at the Minnesota Historical Society and is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.
