iHeartMedia LA Names Brian Long as Program Director for News & Sports Stations

iHeartMedia Los today that Brian Long has been Program Director for three of iHeartMedia’s acclaimed and sports talk stations — KFI AM 640KLAC AM 570 LA Sports and The Patriot KEIB AM 1150.  His new role will take effect January 27, 2025. 

iHeartMedia Los Angeles is home to eight iconic stations spanning music, talk and news formats across broadcast and digital platforms. As Program Director, Long will oversee the audio strategy for KFI, KLAC and KEIB, focusing on broadcast, digital and news content to drive audience engagement and revenue growth across all platforms.  He will report to Peake, EVP of for iHeartMedia Los Angeles.

Long is a veteran news, talk and sports media programmer with over twenty years of major market experience. He has been recognized by numerous industry trade journals as one of the country’s top programmers. His passion for developing talent and building powerful brands has consistently driven both ratings and revenue.
