iOne Digital Revamps 'Elev8' for New Gospel Artists

The new website will create space for healthy, enlightening, and authentic conversations and video content around the mind, body, spirit, and culture. iOne Digital Editorial Director, Aliya Faust, is excited to relaunch Elev8 this month by publishing content centered around self-care, spirituality, trending news, and Elev8’s Trailblazers of Revolutionized Christian Hip-Hop and R&B.

“I think it’s important to have a brand like Elev8 because we acknowledge that what you feed your mind and body matter. Health is multifaceted. I always refer to four of the eight dimensions of wellness. Spiritual health, emotional health, physical health, social health, etc. – it’s all interconnected. When we nurture them in harmony, life is elevated,” said Faust.

This April, Elev8.com will feature exclusive videos, photos and interviews with seven, Trailblazers of Revolutionized Gospel Hip-Hop and R&B: Jor’Dan Armstrong, WandeChildlike CiCiMike Teezy, Stevie RizoLee Vasi and Franschesca. Out today is Wande’s exclusive interview with Elev8, read it now.

“I think that the landscape of Christian hip-hop and R&B right now is honestly in an amazing place. I think we have so many diverse artists to where you’re not just getting one thing every, single time. I feel people are unapologetically being themselves and are unapologetic [about giving you] quality while challenging you in your faith with every song. So I feel like it’s in a great place, and I’m excited to see just so many people discover the music,” said Wande when speaking with Elev8.

Wande is a Nigerian American Christian hip-hop artist, actress and former journalist from Austin, Texas. She signed to the Christian hip-hop label Reach Records in 2019. Wande is currently featured on the remix to summer hit, “Stay Low” with fellow Christian Hip-Hop artist and trailblazer Childlike CiCi.

Jor’Dan Armstrong is the self-proclaimed “King of Christian R&B.” He is a well-known Atlanta-based music artist with two back-to-back Billboard #1’s “My God” and “Call” with Erica Campbell. Last year he achieved his first #1 R&B project on iTunes “Church Girls Love R&B.” 2023 was a big year for Armstrong thanks to his Church Girls Love R&B Tour alongside Grammy Award winner Jonathan McReynolds.

Elev8’s mission is to be a nontraditional spiritual space for Black men and women seeking daily empowerment and spiritual growth, we explore oneness through the interconnection between mind, body, spirit, and culture. Our mission is to encourage personal development that manifests self-awareness, physical well-being, and a spiritually connected community. At Elev8, our calling is in the name: Elevate.

It is our goal to provide resources that inspire our community to embrace the power of God and the power within themselves. Subscribe to Elev8’s newsletter to receive updates on when new interviews and videos drop this month.
