Imagine going to get gas, walking back to your car and getting carjacked with a gun pointed at you from the car next to you. OK, that may not be that hard to imagine but it gets worse. DC Council Cadidate hopeful Nate Fleming backed up to go back into the store for help and one of the assailants went into the store to make him come back out. That had to be horrifying.
“Just got carjacked at gunpoint at the gas station on the corner of Minnesota Ave and Nannie Hellen Burroughs. I am okay, but they got my car. Sadly, I had a feeling this would happen to me and that’s why public safety has always been a top priority in my campaign for DC Council.” See video
