“It’s important for women to see themselves as bosses, women to see themselves as beautiful,” Miller told HelloBeautiful. “Those things can coexist, and you can do both, women, do it all the time.” While speaking with journalist Keyaira Boone, the actress gave us insight into the impact of being a dark-skinned actress and the positive effect it’s had on other women and the importance of representing other women. “I get people in my DMs all the time, women who say, thank you for representing for the chocolate girls,” Miller told HelloBeautiful.
