Overview: Working closely with EVP of Urban Artist Development this position sets strategy for the department as well as secures radio airplay for artists distributed by RED. Responsibilities: * Oversee all RED's urban radio promotion staff airplay efforts * Work with RED-distributed labels on radio efforts * Main point of contact to our labels promotion staffs to strategize radio campaigns and initiatives * Strategize/communicate with RED distributed label presidents/owners in maximizing radio initiatives * Liaise with artists and artist management per label requests * Promote assigned projects directly to stations, consultants and programmers to obtain radio airplay at Urban Mainstream and Urban AC formats * Oversee relationships with Independent Promotion consultants * Work closely with RED Label Management department to identify potential artist opportunities * Work with RED marketing, digital and sales departments to maximize radio initiatives * Analyze the effectiveness of radio campaign efforts and work with EVP of Urban Artist Development to develop best/better practices to achieve department/company goals Qualifications: * Minimum 10 years of radio promotion management experience * Strong relationships with radio programmers nationally * Proven track record of converting airplay into sales * Passionate music fan with broad knowledge of music landscape * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills * Successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities >APPLY<
