Noah Hawley’s 26 Keys Productions and 30WEST have announced that Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman) will star in Nowhere Fast, a Texas crime thriller written and directed by award-winning Noah Hawley (“Fargo”, “Legion”).

Produced by Hawley’s Austin-based 26 Keys Productions, Nowhere Fast follows a small-town criminal who accidentally kills the nephew of his boss. The film is being financed by 30WEST, which will co-represent the U.S. rights alongside CAA Media Finance. AGC International, the international sales arm of AGC Studios, will handle foreign rights. Additional casting is currently in progress.
Chris Pine, known for his roles in Star Trek, Wonder Woman, Don’t Worry Darling, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Into the Woods, Hell or High Water, and The Contractor (which was executive produced and financed by 30WEST), will star in the film.
Noah Hawley, acclaimed for his work on Fargo (which earned 70 Primetime Emmy nominations and won seven awards), Legion, and the upcoming series Alien: Earth (set to air in Summer 2025), will helm the project. Hawley’s feature film directorial debut, Lucy in the Sky, also garnered critical attention.
30WEST’s recent projects include Together, acquired by NEON at Sundance 2025, Day Drinker (starring Madelyn Cline, Johnny Depp, and Penelope Cruz), and Power Ballad (starring Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas, Jack Reynor, and Havana Rose Liu).
