Radio One Philadelphia Welcome’s Shaila Scott

Classix 107.9 WPPZ-FM in Philadelphia, an Urban One station announces Shaila Scott as On-Air Midday Personality. Referred by many as “Radio Royalty,” Shaila has a career in Radio Broadcasting spanning over 30 years.

She began her professional  career in broadcasting during her junior year at The State University College at Buffalo, where   pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and graduated with a B.A. in Broadcasting. Her 30 years in the  Radio industry have featured her voice on various commercials while working with the William  Morris & SEM&M Agency.

She has won the hearts of many as the first hostess of “Kissing After  Dark,” co-host of the “The Kiss Wake Up Club,” and often held the #1 ratings position in the midday  for decades until departed from WBLS (New York) in 2022. Currently, can be heard rocking  “The BLOCK” on 94.7 in New York and now in the midday 9am to 2pm on Classix 107.9 in  Philadelphia.
