BMI’s Rooftop On The Row Kicks Off AMERICANAFEST with Performances from The Droptines, Briscoe, and Ken Pomeroy

BMI’s signature Rooftop On The Row event made its grand return on September 10, marking the official kickoff of the 26th annual AMERICANAFEST. Held at BMI Nashville’s rooftop, the evening drew a crowd of over 900 industry professionals and Americana music enthusiasts. With George Dickel Whisky as the presenting sponsor, the night featured an impressive lineup of performances from The Droptines, Briscoe, and Ken Pomeroy.
Ken Pomeroy opened the evening with a set that included tracks like “Rainbow,” “Bound to Rain,” and “Coyote,” concluding with her latest release, “Pocket Knives.” The Droptines followed, bringing an alternative Americana flavor to the stage with songs such as “Over,” “Bill of Sale,” and “Army Green,” before energizing the crowd with their hit, “Calling All Cars.” Austin-based Briscoe wrapped up the night with a performance of “She Burns Away,” “The Well,” and “Hooped Earrings,” finishing with their popular track, “Hill Country Baby.”
The event, hosted by BMI’s Mason Hunter, marked the end of the seventh season of the Rooftop On The Row series. Throughout the season, thousands of professionals attended the series, which has featured a range of talented artists in its history, including Morgan Wallen, Billy Strings, HARDY, and Colbie Caillat, among others.

BMI continues its commitment to supporting songwriters in the early stages of their careers with the annual Rooftop series, which gives emerging talent a platform to showcase their music in front of an industry-heavy crowd. Throughout this season, attendees also enjoyed free food and beverages from sponsors like Delta Air Lines, Red Bull Jukebox, YETI, and White Claw.
