**Operation Cozy: Collecting Winter Coats to Keep Our Community Warm**

As the temperatures begin to drop and winter approaches, it’s time to bundle up and think about those in need. This season, you can make a difference by participating in Operation Cozy, an initiative launched by Go 4 It! aimed at keeping local children and adults warm.

Starting bright and early at 6 a.m. on November 12, volunteers have come together to collect new or gently-used winter wear, including coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The campaign seeks to ensure that no one in our community has to face the bitter cold unprepared.

“Every year, we hear stories about families struggling to stay warm during the winter months,” said Go 4 It! spokesperson Lisa Carter. “That’s why we’re asking our community to come together and donate items that can make a real difference in people’s lives.”

Donations can be dropped off at designated locations throughout the area. Whether you have an old coat that no longer fits or a set of winter gloves you’ve outgrown, your contributions could help someone stay warm this winter.

In addition to donations, Go 4 It! encourages community members to volunteer their time. Whether it’s sorting items or helping with distribution, every little bit helps. “This isn’t just about coats,” Carter emphasized. “It’s about warmth and community spirit. We want to wrap our neighbors in comfort.”

Join us in our mission to make this winter a little cozier for everyone. For more information on donation locations and volunteer opportunities, check out our video clip that provides all the essential details.
