**Detroit to Warm Hearts with “Operation: Cozy” Winter Clothing Drive**

DETROIT, MI – This winter, the spirit of community shines bright as Go 4 It joins forces with the Center For Youth and Families for an inspiring initiative, “Operation: Cozy.” Scheduled for November 12, 2025, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., this much-anticipated winter clothing drive will take place at Kadesh Baptist Church on Plymouth Road in Detroit.

As temperatures plummet, the need for warm attire becomes crucial. “Operation: Cozy” aims to collect new or gently-used winter essentials including coats, hats, scarves, and gloves to ensure that both children and adults in the community can stay warm during the challenging winter months.

“It’s heartwarming to see our community come together for such an important cause,” said a spokesperson from the Center For Youth and Families. “Every item donated makes a difference, and together we can help our neighbors in need.”

Local 4 is proud to partner with such a vital organization, encouraging everyone to contribute to this cause. With the winter season fast approaching, the urgency to provide warmth and comfort has never been greater. The initiative not only supports those in immediate need but fosters a sense of unity in the face of adversity.

“Let’s show Detroit what we can do when we come together,” the spokesperson urged. “We invite everyone—families, friends, and local businesses—to join us in this mission to spread warmth and kindness.”

Donors are encouraged to deliver their winter donations to Kadesh Baptist Church, where volunteers will be on hand to assist and ensure a smooth drop-off process. Let’s make this winter a little cozier for those who need it most—Detroit, it’s time to come together for “Operation: Cozy!”
