Multiple Fire Crews Respond to Blaze in Southeast Memphis
SOUTHEAST MEMPHIS, TN — A large fire broke out early Tuesday morning, sparking a swift and robust response from multiple fire crews in the Southeast Memphis area. Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick, black smoke billowing into the sky, prompting a race against time for local firefighters.
The fire ignited around 6:30 a.m. on the 7900 block of Winchester Road, quickly escalating in intensity. Flames could be seen overtaking a commercial building, raising concerns among nearby residents and commuters.
