Details of the Abduction and Rescue
Authorities arrested the man at the home and rescued the teen, who was reported missing earlier this month. Investigators revealed that the suspect had met the girl online and convinced her to take a bus to Chicago. He picked her up and took her to his Libertyville home, where he sexually abused her.

A search warrant executed at the home uncovered a gun, thousands of ounces of cannabis, and other controlled substances. This discovery corroborated neighbors’ suspicions of ongoing drug activity at the residence.
Prior Criminal Activity
