In collaboration with industry-leading partners such as Merlin, the global music licensing provider for independent labels, and Kobalt, the largest independent music publisher, ElevenLabs has ensured that their new AI-powered music generation tool aligns with industry standards. These partnerships pave the way for the upcoming launch of Eleven Music Pro, a model specifically designed for top-tier artists and songwriters, expected to launch soon.

CEO and Co-Founder of ElevenLabs, Mati Staniszewski, shared, “Expanding into the music space was a natural next step for us, and we’re thrilled to introduce Eleven Music. We’ve been responding to high demand from our enterprise partners and users, and after careful development, we’re confident this model will meet their expectations.”

The integration of Eleven Music into ElevenLabs’ existing suite of tools—including its Conversational AI platform—marks a new era in AI-driven audio technology. With this expansion, ElevenLabs aims to give users unprecedented freedom and flexibility in music creation, whether for commercial use, content creation, or personal enjoyment.

The platform is built with built-in safeguards to protect music rightsholders, ensuring that the technology serves the best interests of artists, labels, and publishers. The collaboration with Merlin and Kobalt demonstrates how AI and music industry professionals can work together, establishing responsible frameworks for the AI revolution in music.

“Partnering with ElevenLabs is a significant step in navigating the opportunities AI presents in the music world,” said Jeremy Sirota, CEO of Merlin. “We’ve created guardrails that show how AI companies and music rightsholders can collaborate in a way that benefits all parties.”

Laurent Hubert, CEO of Kobalt, also expressed excitement, adding, “We’re committed to ensuring that AI developments include protections for intellectual property and fair opportunities for creators to benefit from AI-generated music.”

Eleven Music is now available on the ElevenLabs website, and its outputs are cleared for broad commercial use. For more information on supported usage, users can visit elevenlabs.io/music-terms.
