ALTer EGO 2026: The Ultimate Rock Experience in LA

The 2026 edition of iHeartRadio’s ALTer EGO is shaping up to be an unforgettable night for Alternative Rock fans. The star-studded event, presented by Capital One, will take place on January 17, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The lineup features an electrifying mix of legendary and emerging artists, including Green Day, Twenty One Pilots, Cage the Elephant, Sublime, Good Charlotte, Myles Smith, Gigi Perez, and Almost Monday.

Hosted by Woody of iHeartRadio’s nationally syndicated “The Woody Show,” the concert promises to deliver an unforgettable night of live music. “If it were a lesser lineup you’d need a stronger host, but look at this list of performers — it’s incredible,” said Woody. “I can’t wait to see all these bands and guide a full house at the Forum through what’s going to be an insane experience!”

Fans across the country will be able to catch the action live through iHeartRadio Alternative and Rock stations, as well as on iHeartRadio.com.

Exclusive Ticket Opportunities

This year, iHeartRadio is offering an exclusive chance for Alternative Rock fans to win trips to Los Angeles for the show before the general ticket sale begins. The promotion, running across over 80 iHeartRadio stations nationwide, gives fans an early shot at attending one of the year’s most anticipated concerts.

iHeartRadio’s Lisa Worden, Program Director for ALT 98.7 and Senior Vice President of Rock and Alternative for iHeartMedia, expressed her excitement: “This year’s lineup brings together absolute legends like Green Day and Twenty One Pilots, mixed in with breakout artists like Myles Smith, Gigi Perez, and Almost Monday. It’s going to be an incredible event!”

Capital One Cardholder Presale

For Capital One cardholders, early access to tickets will be available during a presale event running from October 21 to October 23, 2025. This exclusive presale is an excellent opportunity to secure tickets for the event before they are available to the general public. Additionally, Capital One cardholders can enhance their experience by purchasing a Capital One Access Pass. This includes a private soundcheck performance by Cage the Elephant, along with complimentary food and drinks.

Ticket Sales for the Public

After the Capital One presale, a limited number of tickets will be available through ALT 98.7’s VIP Sale from October 23 to October 24, 2025. These tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the public on October 24 at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com.
