Today, Amazon Music announces chart-topping, multiplatinum Memphis-rap phenomenon NLE Choppa as the featured pregame performer for the upcoming Overtime Elite (OTE) Finals game 3 between City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz tomorrow, March 7th.
Kicking off with a performance at 6:00pm ET, the game will stream live from Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, GA exclusively on Prime Video as well as the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch.
This will be NLE Choppa’s debut performance at the Overtime Elite (OTE) Finals. City Reapers and YNG Dreamerz are each vying for the OTE Championship in a five-game series airing on Amazon Prime Video.
In 2022, Prime Video and Overtime Elite (OTE) announced a multiyear agreement giving Prime Video exclusive global streaming rights to 20 live games per season for the next three seasons. In addition to broadcast rights, Prime Video will exclusively stream a season-long unscripted series set to debut in mid-2023. Amazon has also made an investment in Overtime as part of its Series D funding round.
OTE is a six-team basketball league featuring top 16-20-year-old players from around the world. The teams in the league are the YNG Dreamerz, Cold Hearts, City Reapers, Bruins, Falcons, and Rams. While playing in the league, players receive cutting-edge training and unparalleled resources to prepare them for college and professional basketball.
