Harrell was born September 26, 1960, in The Bronx, New York and was the founder of the successful Uptown Records. He also served briefly as president/CEO of Motown Records. He started off as a rapper in the hip hop duo Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde. He was in the process of working on a feature TV special about his career. More details as they come.
