Washington’s Next Big Voice Official Rules for Voting.
WHUR 96.3FM, the flagship Radio Station of the Howard University Radio Network is launching a brand new afternoon drive show in the Washington market. The Network is in search for “Washington’s Next Big Voice.”
Each week from 3pm to 7pm, a new team of local radio personalities will hit the airwaves on WHUR to showcase their talent and try to convince listeners why they should be “Washington’s Next Big Voice.” The general public(Listeners) will vote on”line at www.whur.com for their favorite afternoon drive team starting April 1, 2013 until Washington’s Next Big Voice is found.
Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE VOTES. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.ALL DATES AND TIMES INCLUDED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE APPROXIMATE AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.WHUR 96.3 Presents “Washington’s Next Big Voice” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Howard University Radio Network, 529 Bryant Street, NW Washington, DC 20059 (the “Sponsor”).
The Contest shall consist of a series of weekly Monday-Friday 3pm ““ 7pm live auditions heard on 96.3 WHUR”“FM starting April 1, 2013 until “Washington’s Next Big Voice” is found (voting period).The Sponsor shall also be the “administrator” of the Contest and shall be responsible for all aspects of administering the Contest, including, without limitation, determining Contest winners. Live auditions are not open to the general public or radio industry professionals. Live auditions are by invitation only. No phone calls please.
How to Enter to Vote:
Vote procedures are subject to change at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion without notice.Sponsor will conduct a series of weekly Monday- Friday 3pm ““ 7pm live auditions on 96.3 WHUR. Listeners have the opportunity to register on WHUR.COM and enter their vote once per day during the voting period.
- Listeners will be allowed to vote once per day for their favorite voices.
- The top vote getters from each week will qualify as finalists.
- One lucky team will become “Washington’s Next Big Voice”
Sponsor reserves the right to change the limit on allowed votes, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, provided that any change will be prominently displayed on the voting webpage.

a) Sponsor, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person suspected of tampering with the entry process or the operation of the website, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules.
Sponsor further reserve the right to cancel, terminate, or modify this contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, or technical failures of any sort beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes. Prime Sponsor and Promoter reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to suspend or terminate this contest.
