ASCAP London will once again present the ASCAP Music Café at the second UK Sundance Film and Music Festival. The festival will take place at the London O2, April 25th – 28th, 2013. The Music Café will be located at the Sundance London Inc Club – the festival Hub – with Gibson Guitar supplying all backline and instrumentation for the venue. The Music Cafe is a showcase of live performances, bringing together emerging and established artists and bands from diverse backgrounds. Following the success of last year’s inaugural even – in which ASCAP presented acts such as Gabrielle Aplin, Daughter, The Staves and Seye – this year’s featured acts include: Wolf Alice, Mary Epworth, Josef Salvat, MT Wolf, Charles Bruno, Alex Burey, Iman, Sam Lee, Richard Walters, Public Service Broadcasting and the Gibson Spotlight competition winner in association with Absolute Radio. The festival’s events feature “The Art Of The Score: An Afternoon With David Arnold”; a Q&A session with The Eagles following a screening of Alison Ellwood’s documentary History Of The Eagles Part One; a 45-minute acoustic performance by Gregg Allman and John Paul White following a screening of Greg Camalier’s documentary feature Muscle Shoals; and screenings of 20 feature-length and nine short films from the 2013 Sundance Film Festival held in January in Park City, UT.
