AUDACY ANNOUNCES BROADCAST PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME

Audacy and Notre Dame Global Partnerships (NDGP) have announced a multi-year radio broadcast agreement for Notre Dame Football. As part of the relationship, WBBM Newsradio (WBBM-AM) will air all Fighting Irish football games on the Notre Dame Radio Network beginning with the team’s season opener on September 5 against Florida State.

“Notre Dame football is a powerhouse college football program with a large alumni and fan base across Chicago,” said Rachel Williamson, Regional President and Market Manager, Audacy Chicago. “It’s our honor to bring the Fighting Irish games to listeners on WBBM-AM’s premier signal.”

“We are pleased to add WBBM-AM to the Notre Dame Radio Network family, particularly as we enter the 100th year of Notre Dame football on the airwaves,” said Theodore Loehrke, President, Notre Dame Global Partnerships.

The Notre Dame Radio Network, distributed by Skyview Networks, is the only national college radio network in the country.

Prior to each broadcast, the station will air a one-hour pre-game show featuring the official Fighting Irish broadcast team of Paul Burmeister and Ryan Harris. A post-game show will air at the conclusion of every game.

During Notre Dame football broadcasts on WBBM-AM, non-stop news coverage will continue on 105.9 FM (WCFS-FM).
