Audacy announces weekday lineup updates for News/Talk 98.9 WORD (WYRD-FM) in Greenville, effective May 6.
Mike Gallagher will host “The Mike Gallagher Show” weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. Joey Hudson will host a new show, “Sunrise Carolina with Joey Hudson,” weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. ET and a magazine-style show, “The WORD on the Street,” on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET.

Gallagher, also known as “The Happy Conservative Warrior,” is the nationally syndicated host of “The Mike Gallagher Show.” He previously hosted the morning show on 77 WABC (WABC-AM) in New York and launched his radio career in Greenville in 1989.
As founder of “Gallagher’s Heroes: Fallen Officers Fund,” he received the New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association “Heroism Award” in April 2015.

Hudson, a broadcaster, community service leader and businessman with a decade of experience in local radio, hosts the daily podcast “Just The Truth.”
As part of the changes, “Straight Talk with Bill Frady” will now be heard weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. The new weekday lineup is as follows.
- 5:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. ET: “Sunrise Carolina with Joey Hudson”
- 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. ET: “The Tara Show”
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET: “The Mike Gallagher Show”
- 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET: “Straight Talk with Bill Frady”
- 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. ET: “The Charlie James Show”
