Avril Lavigne Rocks Vancouver: Greatest Hits Tour Kickoff (Pics) (video)

Eight-time GRAMMY®-nominated diamond-certified icon Avril Lavigne launched the North American leg of her Greatest Hits Tour with a spectacular performance at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

The show marked the beginning of a highly anticipated tour, thrilling fans with a vibrant, high-energy production featuring career-spanning favorites such as “Complicated,” “Girlfriend,” and “Sk8er Boi.”

This tour coincides with the announcement of her first-ever Greatest Hits album, set for release on June 21 via Legacy Recordings (Sony Music Entertainment).

Release Date and Availability

Avril Lavigne – Greatest Hits will be available on June 21 in 12″ vinyl, CD, and digital formats. The album is now available for pre-order.

Tracklist and Highlights

The Greatest Hits album is a compilation of 20 career-spanning hits from Avril’s award-winning catalog. It includes RIAA 3x platinum and 4x platinum Canadian certified “Complicated” and the 3x platinum Canadian certified (RIAA 2x platinum-certified) “Sk8er Boi” from her 2002 debut album Let Go.

The album also features tracks from her seventh studio album, Love Sux, such as “Bite Me,” “Bois Lie” feat. Machine Gun Kelly, and “I’m A Mess” with Yungblud.

Upcoming Shows

The tour continues on Saturday, May 25, with a performance in Auburn, WA, at White River Amphitheatre. The tour will then travel through the U.S. and Canada, with notable stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Toronto, Charlotte, Nashville, Chicago, Edmonton, and more, before wrapping up on Wednesday, September 18, in Calgary.

Special Guests and Opening Acts

All Time Low and Simple Plan will join Avril on select dates as special guests and direct support. Royal & the Serpent and Girlfriends will join select dates as opening acts.
