In 2026, Beasley Media Group marks its 65th anniversary, a journey that began on December 3, 1961, when founder George Beasley received an FCC license for WPYB-AM in Benson, North Carolina. Over the years, Beasley has transformed from a single radio station into a diverse media corporation with 55 radio stations across various large and mid-sized markets.
