Beatclub proudly announces that the track, which was initially uncovered on their platform, was a collaborative effort. “Last Trip to the Moon,” a production team and esteemed members of Beatclub, co-wrote and co-produced the song alongside the iconic Timbaland
Beatclub Inc., the premier global marketplace for music creators founded by Timbaland and music manager Gary Marella, has proven its model to be a smashing success, with the recent release of Timbaland’s latest single “Keep Going Up” featuring Nelly Furtado & Justin Timberlake.
The single, released in partnership between Timbaland’s own Mosley Music Group and Def Jam Recordings on September 1st, is still the #1 Greatest Gainer spot at Top 40 & Hot AC Radio in the US in its second week.
The track was originally discovered on Beatclub, the immensely successful music creator tech platform where artists, producers and songwriters have made millions from sync and major label placements with over 50 global brands.
The platform’s full spectrum community includes emerging talent, from bedroom producers and indie artists, to Beatclub equity holders including platinum award winning talent like Justin Timberlake, J Cole, Tainy, Mike Dean and more.
After a one-on-one mentoring session between Timbaland and Beatclub members Brandon Stewart and Brandon Cordoba, who helped create “Keep Going Up” as part of their music production team Last Trip to the Moon, the rest was history for Timbaland, in what he now refers to as “the call that ignited the spark.”
Shortly after Timbaland decided to use the song, he added in his signature production style, and brought in Timberlake and Furtado as featured artists. Watch a special making-of-the-track video HERE.
“If you are serious about your craft as an artist, producer or songwriter and willing to take the time to learn, Beatclub is the right place for you,” said Beatclub Co-founder Timbaland.
“Beatclub is a creative community built to support and empower artists, producers and songwriters,” Grammy Awarding winning artist and Beatclub Equity Holder Justin Timberlake said. “The single being discovered here is just another example of what differentiates us from other platforms in this space.”
“Our mission is to provide the tools necessary to help artists, producers and songwriters succeed. We are not just a marketplace to sell beats on or another distribution platform dipping their toe into the producer market,” said Beatclub CEO and Co-founder Gary Marella.
“Our A&R team is incredible which is why the best of the best are aligned with us and 50+ global brands use Beatclub.”
Beatclub offers all of the tools, resources, community, mentorship, feedback, education, placement opportunities and more in a centralized creator hub which has attracted artists, producers and songwriters at all levels.
As a result, by using AI to scale feedback and to assist Beatclub’s A&R team with the sync process, the platform has helped its members secure thousands of placements with not only major label artists, but also sync opportunities for placement in film, TV, advertising, and gaming, through its exclusive opportunities portal where Beatclub members have already earned millions of dollars.
