The screening was graced by the presence of producer DeVon Franklin, along with stars Serayah and Tyler Lepley. The supporting cast, including Jermaine Dupri, Lecrae, Nijah Brenea, Walnette Santiago, James Thomas Lee, and Gabby Jackson, also attended the event.

Among the notable guests were music icons Da Brat and Judy, Blue Kimble, Quad Webb, Terrell Carter, Joey Bada$$, Montell Jordan, and Eva Marcille, among others, adding to the star-studded affair.

Directed by Alanna Brown, Ruth & Boaz is a fresh take on a timeless love story, blending faith, healing, and second chances. The film follows Ruth Moably (played by Serayah), a rising hip-hop artist from Atlanta who retreats to rural Tennessee after a personal tragedy. There, she cares for her late boyfriend’s mother (Phylicia Rashad) and unexpectedly finds new love with Boaz (Tyler Lepley), a generous vineyard owner.

Produced by DeVon Franklin and Tyler Perry, with screenplay written by Michael Elliot and Cory Tynan, Ruth & Boaz also features an original song by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, performed by Serayah.
