BMI Reveals Schedule of Events for SXSW 2025

BMI has announced its schedule of events during 2025 SXSW Music Conference and Festival. From March 11-14, BMI will spotlight 42 acts across six showcases, providing a go-to destination to discover today’s rising stars in pop, country, Latin, hip-hop, R&B, rock and everything in between. A founding sponsor of the festival for over 30 years, BMI’s stages have been known for consistently presenting the best new music from its incredible roster of songwriters.

BMI Presents Howdy Texas

Tuesday, March 11th at Still Austin

Free, open to the public | Doors at 12 PM | Show from 1 PM to 10 PM

BMI is excited to host its annual Howdy Texas party at Still Austin Whiskey Co. (440 E St Elmo Rd Suite F). This free, public event will showcase nine diverse Texas-based artists, including Smooth Nature, Sydney Wright, KAZIMI, Sunny Sauceda, Mikky & The Doom, and more. Performances will span genres such as R&B/pop with western influences, southern rap, indie-pop, and post-punk.

YETI Music Showcase, Presented by BMI

March 12th-14th at YETI Flagship

Free, open to the public | Doors at 11 AM | Show from 12 PM to 6 PM

The YETI Music Showcase, presented by BMI, returns to the YETI Flagship on South Congress (220 S Congress Ave). Over three days, attendees will enjoy 18 performances from emerging artists in genres ranging from bedroom pop and rock to indie singer/songwriter and country. Drink specials and food pop-ups will also be available. The showcase is sponsored by Agazul, Coca-Cola, Dickel, Karbach, Smartwater, Topo Chico, and White Claw.

BMI Songwriters Circle at Luck Reunion

Thursday, March 13th at Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch

Ticket to Luck Reunion required | 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM, Revival Tent

For the third year in a row, BMI will host the BMI Songwriters Circle at the Revival Tent during Luck Reunion. BMI songwriters Valley James, Coleman Jennings, and JD Clayton will perform intimate versions of their favorite songs and share the stories behind them.

Friday, March 14th

Invite Only | Doors at 10 AM | Show from 10:30 AM to 3 PM

The week will wrap up with the highly anticipated BMI Brunch, featuring diverse performances by songwriters such as JC Stewart, Presley Haile, Sierra Spirit, Chri$tian Gate$, Tish Melton, J Soulja, Kat Cunning, and more across two stages. The event is sponsored by Agazul, Coca-Cola, Dickel, ONErpm, Smartwater, Topo Chico, and White Claw.
