In the early hours of Friday morning, a car and a train collided in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. The incident occurred at the intersection of Quigley Road and Clark Avenue, prompting a call to authorities at 3:47 a.m. Eyewitnesses observed the driver fleeing from the scene. By the time emergency medical services (EMS) and the police arrived the car was found to be empty.

A 16-year-old girl was subsequently transported to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition. Although witnesses claimed that two individuals were in the car during the crash, the condition of these individuals has not been officially confirmed by Cleveland EMS and the police.
