CBS has announced the renewal of nine additional series for the 2025-2026 broadcast season, including top-performing CBS Original shows such as the #1 entertainment series Tracker, the #1 comedy Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and the #1 new unscripted series Hollywood Squares. Other renewals include Elsbeth, Fire Country, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney. Additionally, Ghosts has received a two-season renewal, extending the show through the 2026-2027 season.

Earlier, CBS confirmed orders for other 2025-2026 season hits, including Matlock, starring Kathy Bates; Sheriff Country, a new drama expanding the Fire Country universe with Morena Baccarin; Boston Blue (working title), a new police drama starring Donnie Wahlberg as Blue Bloods character Danny Reagan; The Road, a singing competition from Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan; and the reality series Survivor and The Amazing Race. The original FBI series was also renewed through the 2026-2027 season, bringing CBS’s total number of ordered series for 2025-2026 to 16.
Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, expressed pride in the network’s ability to deliver a mix of long-standing hits and new fan favorites for both broadcast and streaming audiences. She anticipates another successful season with the continued support of talented partners on and off-camera.
The network has seen impressive year-over-year growth in its returning series. Highlights include:
Tracker: 18 million multiplatform viewers (+4%)
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage: 12.9 million viewers
Elsbeth: 11 million viewers (+3%)
Ghosts: 11 million viewers (+9% streaming growth)
Fire Country: 10.6 million viewers (+43% streaming growth)
NCIS: 10.4 million viewers (+3% streaming growth)
NCIS: Origins: 9.2 million viewers (+72% streaming growth)
NCIS: Sydney: Estimated 7 million viewers (based on premiere estimates)
Hollywood Squares: Estimated 5.4 million viewers
CBS series are available on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+, with episodes available on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after airing and live streaming for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers.
