While Will Smith is making a desperate and almost embarrassing attempt to rekindle his image before slapping Chris Rock into the next month at the Oscars, Chris Rock seems to have moved on … completely.
He told a crowd in Phoenix this past Sunday that he turned down a request to host the show again this coming year and even made a joke about it when he said that returning to the Oscars stage would be like returning to the scene of a crime.
And he made a reference to the OJ Simpson murder trial, saying that it would be like asking Nicole Brown Simpson “to go back to the restaurant.” Rock also stated he turned down an offer to appear in a Super Bowl commercial.
We can’t help but wonder if the commercial was making jest of the slap. Rock is also still refusing to communicate with Smith after Smith’s request to have a conversation
