Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando Radio has announced that Brandi Britain will be joining 98.9FM WMMO as its new morning co-host, starting today. Britain will team up with Jay Edwards, the station's current morning host.
“I'm a roller-skating, joke-telling radio personality with a distinctive voice and plenty of stories,” said Britain. “I’m passionate about creating entertaining radio, connecting with my audience through personal stories and opinions, and, most importantly, making people laugh. My goal is to be the reason someone says, ‘Hey, guess what I heard today.'”
Britain brings over 11 years of experience as a morning talent in Atlanta, where she became a listener favorite.
“We’re excited to welcome such a popular talent to our WMMO family,” said Steve Stewart, Director of Operations/Program Director for WMMO. “Brandi is going to be adored by our Orlando listeners, just as she was in Atlanta.”
