Doppler Labs announced the continuation of their partnership with Goldenvoice, transforming the 2016 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival into the most sonically and technologically advanced music festival in the world. This first-of-its-kind relationship for Coachella includes an unparalleled festival integration with the Here Active Listening System™, the first in-ear audio system that uses two wireless buds and a smart phone app to let users instantly control and personalize their live audio environment.By creating Here Optimized Stages, festival attendees can act as their own personal sound mixer during the festival, listening to a performance the way they want to and ultimately allowing them to experience music in a way that’s never happened before at a live event. By boosting the bass, altering the EQ, adding reverb and eliminating background noises, among other applications, this collaboration puhear the world. The partnership also marks the only time that Here will be available en masse to the public for trial and purchase. Coachella attendees will be given the opportunity to buy Here in advance of the festival so they can arrive on site familiar with the technology and ready to integrate it into their festival experience. With a waitlist already in excess of 25,000 people, Here previously was only offered in limited quantities to a select group of Kickstarter backers and to entertainment professionals and VIPs within Doppler’s network, which includes Hans Zimmer, Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, Tiesto, AM Only, WME and Universal Music Group.”Our partnership with Doppler Labs has been a passion project for us since the beginning. It’s been fascinating to watch Here go from a concept to a reality,” said Paul Tollett, of Goldenvoice. “Here puts the power of music back into the ears of Coachella attendees.””We are elated to bring Here Active Listening to Coachella in 2016 and provide attendees the tools to personalize their live music experience,” said Noah Kraft, CEO and Co-Founder of Doppler Labs. “We could not have asked for a more ideal partner to help us demonstrate the power of Here Active Listening and work with us to fully integrate Here into the festival experience. This is a big step for Doppler as we work to transform how we hear the world, and redefine the boundaries of what is possible with in-ear technology.”
