Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Cincinnati Adult Contemporary radio station Warm 98.5/WRRM-FM raised $40,358 for the Dragonfly Foundation in the third annual Warm 98.5 Dragonfly Radiothon held on Tuesday, December 12th from 7:00am-6:00pm. All funds raised during the live broadcast will help children in the Tri-State area with pediatric cancer and their families. The total amount raised this year represented a 20% increase in funds donated from the previous year. Presenting sponsor of the Warm 98.5 Dragonfly Radiothon was Papa Johns Pizza.
Throughout the day, Warm 98.5 listeners heard inspiring stories of strength and courage from brave Dragonfly families that the Dragonfly Foundation has helped during their cancer journey. Donations were made by the community through phone and text pledges and online. Every donation will make an immediate impact in the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families.
