104.5 The Zone/WGFX-FM, CUMULUS MEDIA’s premier Sports Talk radio station serving Nashville and Middle Tennessee, announces that it has launched a new podcast, “3 The Pro Way”, hosted by well-known Nashville sports figures Kevin Dyson, a former Titans Wide Receiver, and Joey Kent, a Vol For Life and former Titans Wide Receiver, and Todd Campbell, who played college football for Western Kentucky University.
The podcast is the newest addition to the 104.5 The Zone Podcast Network. The debut episode features guest Eddie George, former Tennessee Titans star, Heisman Trophy winner and current Head Coach of the Tennessee State Tigers, and is available now on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, TuneIn, Audioboom and other podcast services. New episodes are available on Mondays at 8:00am CST.
“3 The Pro Way” shares the stories of the three African American athletes and business professionals, who have each transformed their respective athletic careers into different careers, allowing them to learn, grow and become successful through those unique paths. Kent, Dyson and Campbell will give advice and discuss concepts for how to successfully transition from one career to another.
They will also welcome guests who have gone through similar career journeys to share their personal and professional perspectives and provide podcast listeners with helpful takeaways on how to transition from one career to an entirely new one.

Dyson is best known for his role in two historic NFL plays – the Music City Miracle and The Tackle. He has been a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and currently serves as an executive principal of a high school. Kevin is also a radio personality, and motivational speaker and presenter. He holds a bachelor’s degree, two master’s degrees and a doctorate in education.

Kent played for the Titans in 1999’s Super Bowl XXXIV. He has worked in the insurance industry, general sales, and is currently in pharmaceutical sales as Territory Area Manager. He is also a radio personality, as well as the co-owner and co-founder of That Legendary Play, a sports memorabilia company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Campbell has been a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, executive principal, and college professor. He currently serves as the CEO of a non-profit that helps students and families from at-risk neighborhoods. He is also a speaker and presenter on cultural diversity and educational leadership. He holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees in Education.
The 104.5 The Zone Podcast Network was launched in April, when the Nashville sports station announced that it had entered into a content partnership agreement with popular online sports information and entertainment destination, A to Z Sports. The agreement brings together the two biggest sports entertainment brands in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, allowing them to create and share unique, deep-dive sports content across their respective digital platforms, including streaming and on-demand content, podcasts, social media, and much more, plus live and local on-air programming on 104.5 The Zone and high-engagement live events for area sports fans.
