A Philadelphia gas station customer was killed at the pump in broad daylight. The ambush was caught on camera.
Authorities said, dressed in all black, the two killers, fatally shot the victim in broad daylight at a Gulf station in North Philly on Monday.
The suspects pulled into the gas station in a maroon Mazda 3 with New Jersey plates at about 2:30 p.m. before parking in the corner of the lot, police video shows.
Wearing masks and hoods, the assailants jumped out of the car and ran toward their target as one brandished an assault rifle and the other a handgun, the video showed.
Multiple shots were fired at the victim, identified by Fox Philadelphia as 30-year-old Brandon Dixon.
Footage showed, the attackers running towards their idle vehicle and hopping into the back seat as the driver made a turn and left the parking lot.
According to the station, at the hospital, Dixon passed away. He is the father of a 5-year-old girl.
“I don’t know who’s raising these children, but they [the attackers] don’t care. They have no empathy,” Dixon’s mother, Lisa, reportedly said.
“They have nothing in them. They don’t care, and they took my baby’s life.”
