Just a year ago, Shannon Murphy was out of a job, newly single and looking for another direction in life.
What a difference a year makes.
Now the perky 27-year-old brunette is an on-air personality at one of Detroit’s most popular radio stations and took a seat last week as guest host on a national TV show.
The Grosse Ile native replaced a vacationing Kelly Ripa for the day on Aug. 17 as co-host of “LIVE! With Regis and Kelly””on ABC.
